The overwhelming mental health epidemic has been amplified even more so due to the implications caused by the global pandemic.
“Mental illness is taking its toll, both on those who were already at risk, as well as on those who have never sought mental health support before,” Dr Hans Kluge, director of WHO Europe, told a press briefing on 28 January (view press release).
While there has been progress in the mental health landscape, there is still a predominant skew to reactive strategies rather than proactive strategies. Happyful focuses on proactive strategies to our mental health by providing a platform of preventative tools and resources.
At Happyful we feel that we all play a role in improving mental wellbeing. We can achieve this by:
- Looking at self
- Embrace growth
- Pursue more purpose, balance and meaning
- Share the lessons and experience with others.
What’s really important is integrating measures of digital technology with wellbeing and meaningful applications that work together with economic goals as the standards with which we measure the health of our society.
